Be The Match “Drive-in-a-Box” Volunteer -Texas
Do you want to make a difference in helping someone with blood cancer while working independently?
Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. A matching blood stem cell transplant is the only cure. And while most people believe a match is easily found within the family, 70% of all patients need to reach out into the community for help. YOU could help find their life-saving match!
We are looking for volunteers willing to share the Be The Match mission with family and friends to increase registrations.
You will receive a box of drive materials to:
- Share patient stories (in-person with your circle of friends or over your social media platforms)
- Provide educational information about our mission to expand and diversify the Be The Match registry
- Provide information on how to join the Be The Match registry
- Assist registrants with the registry process
Volunteers will receive training and support to help us at Be The Match raise awareness and increase registrations.
